| | Upper Antelope Canyon, AZ | | After having driven by this "canyon" several times in the last 20+ years, I finally stopped by for a visit. The site, carved by water, wind and sand, is located a few miles east of Page, Arizona on the Navajo Reservation. {w/ D7} |

| | '03 Sandia Crest | | Towering some 5000ft above Albuquerque, Sandia Crest is an excellant site to look over the Rio Grande valley. One Saturday afternoon in March I took a first time drive there and spent a couple of hours, sometimes hip deep in snow. {w/ 10D} |

| | '05 Gathering of Nations | | There were soooooo many folks at this year's Gathering. When the view of the contest dancers was blocked, there were other opportunities nearby. Most of these were shot using a Sigma 150/2.8 macro. {10D} |

| | 03 Utah Baha'i School | | Held over the Memorial Day weekend, the 2003 Utah Baha'i School was located in the Southwest corner of the state, next door to Zion National Park. It attracted folks from 6 different states plus recently immigrated Baha'is. The two main workshops focused on America's spiritual destiny and Islam. {w/ 10D} |
| | '03 Zion National Park | | Zion National Park is located in the southwest corner of Utah. I was able to spend an all too short few days there at the end of May and was awed by the springs, flowers and towering landscape. {10D} |

| | Hang gliding | | There's a hill on the way home from work, where folks practice their basic hang gliding skills. |
| | Tom & Elenor's 50th | | Friends and family gathered together to celebrate Tom and Elenor's 50th wedding anniversary and the renewing of their vows, this time under the auspices of the Baha'i Faith. {10d} |
| | 06 Yellowstone National Park | | (with a quick visit to the Tetons on a cloudy morning at the end) Was able to spend a week wandering the park for a first time visit. May these photos do justice in showing the unique sites to be seen during the spring. {20d} |
